Kari Bergen
Friday Night 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm ($35.00)

Pendulums are a great tool for getting yes/no answers from spirits in real time, but they can do so much more with the help of a pendulum board! Let Kari Bergen walk you through creating a custom wooden pendulum board that you will take home with you. Create a board that suits your unique style and purpose as you learn all about working with this tool, including the pendulum's many different purposes, how and why pendulums work, different methods of using pendulums in investigations and daily life, how to choose and care for your pendulum and more! There will be pendulums available to use and/or purchase during the workshop, but feel free to bring your own. This comprehensive workshop is great for both beginners and those already familiar with pendulums.
INVESTIGATION AT GALENA CELLARS WINERY
Friday Night 10:00 pm - 2:00 am ($45.00)
Hosted by Spirit Society Paranormal
Spirit Society Paranormal is excited to host another year of investigations for The Haunted Galena Conference. As former members of Trancendent Paranormal Society, we are looking forward to offering unique new ways of investigating at this after-hours event, including more interactive opportunities and (drum roll, please) a surprise guest investigator at each workshop!
Investigations will include using traditional tools of divination including pendulums, dowsing rods and more. You will also experience modern ghost hunting equipment including, but not limited to, EMF detectors, REM pods, and EVP devices. This is a great opportunity to experience the many tools used in paranormal investigations over the last 150 years combined with some new techniques and experiences!

From 1900 to 1965, The Galena Cellars Winery functioned as Galena's primary funeral home and shared the space with a furniture store. As odd as that seems, the furniture makers made coffins, which were then utilized by the funeral home. This arrangement was a common practice throughout America. Countless people were prepared for burial in this building, and as such, it is one of the most haunted buildings, not just in Galena, but in the Midwest.
From ghostly children to unexplainable paranormal outbursts, this investigation is not for the faint of heart. Stories of encounters, photos, and eyewitness testimony in both locations make this investigation an event you don't want to miss!
