Experience genuine dark history and ghost storytelling like never before, as you stroll through Galena's haunted East Side by candlelight.

Traversing through little known neighborhoods and woodland paths on Galena's East Side, our Ghost Walk is spooky fun for all. The 2 hour walking tour begins at A Darkness Lovely and ends behind the DeSoto House Hotel. Limited dates on select Saturdays.

About our Haunted East Side Galena Ghost Walk

Tour begins promptly at 8 PM at A Darkness Lovely, 304 South Main St., Galena, IL 61036

There are no restrooms at the tour starting point, or along the tour route, so please use the facilities before you arrive

No Smoking allowed on tour. No drunk or disorderly patrons allowed. Disruptive guests will be dropped from the tour with no refunds.

This tour is for ages 10+, but be advised we discuss murder, death, and dark history, so use your discretion in bringing children

Dress for the weather, but know that we do not operate in dangerous or threatening weather

Be ready to walk, the East Side Tour goes 1.5 miles over multiple terrains and woodland habitats, more challenging than our Galena Ghost Walk downtown. Sturdy shoes advised, Sandals not advised.

We are a story telling based ghost tour, not a ghost hunting ghost tour. You may bring your own ghost hunting equipment on the tour as long as it is non disruptive to the performance
